As the Cabinet Member responsible for Local Services & Community Safety, I would like to underline the importance of creating Safer, Cleaner and Greener areas where all our communities can prosper and participate fully in all that the City can offer.

To achieve this, I will be supporting a radical programme of improvement in all our locally based services so that the benefits are felt and experienced by our residents, many of whom, rightly expect the best from us. Greater collaboration between service providers at the local level, higher standards and consulting the community will all be important activities.
