birmingham city council tribal executive resourcing

Imagine local government operating at a truly local level. Local government that recognises, supports and responds to cultural and social diversity. Where the bureaucracy of centralisation is replaced with an innovative strategy of small, responsive, userfocused units. Where the full range of high quality, local services are delivered more flexibly, sensitively and cost-effectively than ever before. Imagine a city of flourishing neighbourhoods - then see it happening in Birmingham. We are the first civic pioneer council in the country, fundamentally changing the way the council works and the way services are organised. More importantly, we’re on target to deliver the project, we’re fully supported by a new administration and we’re now ready to complete our top-level team.
