Director of Performance and Resources; This is an innovative and exciting new post. It is unusual in that very few authorities have a similar ‘expanded treasurer’ role. This vacancy goes far beyond Section 151 Officer. It offers a real opportunity to be an influential voice in the Senior Management Team - influencing both the Police Authority and the Police Force’s policy and decision-making. You will also act as my deputy.
In this role you will work closely with police authority members, our partner organisations, and with Police professionals at the very highest level, so you will need highly developed interpersonal skills.
The work of the Authority is both challenging and rewarding and we are looking for an exceptional individual to fill this crucial role. To succeed, you will need to be highly competent, dynamic and hard working.
Assistant Chief Executive; This is a challenging post which combines providing support to me with the provision of an effective governance and control role for the Authority. You will also be responsible for Member support and overall office support within the Secretariat.
We are looking for a high calibre individual to fill this new role. While
working within a broad framework of duties, you will be largely unsupervised
but the three key qualities you will need to succeed will be leadership,
initiative and discretion.
