Police Authority Secretariat
The advantage of our lean structure is that decision making can happen and take effect quickly.
We are a small team of officers supporting our 17 Members in their oversight and scrutiny role of Force activities.
The Secretariat of 14 handles the Authority’s three key functions.
Governance
This function is managed by the Assistant Chief Executive (new post),
assisted by a Member Support Manager and an Office Support Manager.
They are joined by a Member Support Officer, 3 Office Support Officers
and a Caretaker.
Performance and Resources
The Director of Performance and Resources (new post) is supported by
a Performance and Resources Manager and a Performance and Resources
Officer (see top) The Director also has overall responsibility for
Internal Audit.
Consultation and Partnership
These areas of the Authority’s activities are handled by two
specialist managers. The Consultation and Partnership Manager and Consultation
and Partnership Officer oversee the Authority’s role of consulting
with residents of Humberside on policing priorities. They also work
closely with partner organisations to ensure that delivery of criminal
justice in Humberside is joined-up and mutually complimentary.
